View Full Version : Help choose B&W or colour image to print.
Can i have your vote on which you prefer. Want to do a 600mm sq canvas print for mother in law but cant make up mind.It willprobably hang on a beige wall. It is a surprise so can not ask her and father in law aint got a clue. Wifey says the colour one but i say the B&W

Colour :)
Yep, the colour one looks nicer. I would have gone for the black and white but the colour one blends so well within itself.

Yep colour
The white flower in the B&W doesn't seem to be really white in contrast to the black, if it were a starker white it would be better to my eyes.
There's more visual stimulation in the colour one I find

Definately colour.
All because of the drops of water. In the colour image they stand out more and give the image a massive amount of depth. I feel in the B&W one loses that somewhat.

Colour, but get it printed professionally. That type of delicate shading needs care.

Thanks for all the responses so far. Everyons has chosen the colour version so far so i think i will put an order in. Online company will do it for 27 quid delivered as they doing half price canvas picks at the mo.

I guess the only way i am going to find out how this company deal with the colour is to put them to the test. If they are decent then they will get more business from me :)

Black and white is good, then you scroll down and see the colour much better imo.

+1.
Colour - the contrast is not sharp enough in the B&W and therefore the depth drops. the colour really stands out at you.
