Too many for a proper poll, so it'll have to be run like the photo competition voting threads - 1st preferences only posted below, and I'll add them up in a couple of weeks.

The two bits to the side of the lid are my renderings of the two "chest tags".

I just didnt have time to knock up a t-shirt outline to place them correctly, but they would be placed as per the original Roberrrrt design.

Which bits guys?

If I let you into the design decisions, maybe you will understand why I came up with what I did.

First the back

The username at the top was commented on as being bad for those with long hair. The username at the bottom was considered to be too likely to be hidden by anyone tucking it into their jeans/leathers/etc.

Hence the .org logo at the top (no big deal if hidden ;)) and the name at mid-back height, was thinking that if people put their T-Shirt OVER their jackets then you could tell who you were behind for bits of the rideout.

The Front

Pretty much copied Roberrrrts design (Owenski only posted it) but put my brake-disk flower in as

a) I liked it as I designed it,
b) we are bikers, not florists :mrgreen:,
c) As an original artwork (as is all of it - well the SV650 bit WAS effectively traced, but the tracing was done by me)) we dont get copyright issues :p

Might be worth discussing it between yourselves - I have no problem with refinements to the chosen design (as long as they're mostly the same as voted on above). No doubt it'll need changing to some degree to make it easier to print anyway...

Well I couldn't vote, goes without saying, but yes, it is a bit poor. I do hope the lack of enthusiasm for t shirt design is a reflection of the AR itself :(

TBH many people won't care and will just take whats on offer, some will see the way voting is going and if its looking like its going the way they would like it to, not bother.

Some will not vote if a friend has entered and they like something else but don't want to vote against a friend.

Then there is the batch of £5 notes I sent out to people to not vote unless it looked like someone else would win (thought it was better to do it that way than an overwhelming number of votes for me) :p

I'd like to re-iterate what I posted before, the design IS a mash-up, it was inspired by others, Reeder for the idea of the rose, and Roberrrrt for the horned lid and rough layout. I just redesigned bits to make it more t-shirt friendly.

Just a good example of how working together on something with the input of others can end in a better result than a solo effort.

Got to chat to Paul6th, then he'll link up to his site with details. Its usual direct set up seller/buyer. Cuts out any messing about if theres somebody else involved.

He'll need to sort out the final thing anyway for cost and design.

I had nothing to do with the design just helped out getting it up on to the interenet. It is a really nice example though of seeing us all work together a true design process on to producing a final design.

eyup guys - just had a quick leaf through this thread, which one's the final winning design?

Could someone link/post the winning image plz :)

Just for those who are wondering (and as explained to diz in pm yesterday) - we'll take the design and turn it into something cuttable/printable, throw together a few layout ideas with attached cost per garment, once diz/oli rose/any other AR organisers are happy with the final garment layout & price, we'll throw together a simple webpage where you can order/select delivery option/pay, to keep everything organised and in one place..

That's about it really :)
