in a few weeks I will be breaking down my k6 model (k7 plate) sv650 sport. Before I do I thought I would post it up on here to be bought as a whole as a possible project bike. I am breaking it down due to it having some engine problems. A few weeks ago it started making a horrible rattling noise which got progressively worse and seemed to be down on power, it still ran and started up but something wasnt right, sent it into a suzuki workshop and the front cam chain had gotten completely slack and bouncing all over the place. Cam chain and tensioner were replaced. Bike started up fine but still rattled if you revved it slightly and hadnt really gotten any better and the mechanic reconned that it had blown out the small end and didnt think a complete engine strip would be viable as it would get ridiculously expensive. I have bought a new one since as I needed to stay on the road. I will be swapping a couple of little things like the crash bungs and the head light cover as the new one has a small crack in the headlight cover. The rest of the bike is still in good nick and has no damage at all. The exhaust had been changed to a race can but I have kept that but the original one is available to go with it.

Before I break it down I am giving you all the opportunity to grab a bargain if you feel like doing a bit of engine work to the bike (I would have liked to do it myself but dont have the time). I am hoping to still get a decent price for it but aren't expecting masses. If you are interested send me an offer and we'll see what we can do. If you look at my pictures it is the bike on there.

i will be selling it from south east london.

I remembered as well that I had missed out of the first part, the front indicators have been changed to flush LED ones, but they can (and probably will be) changed back to being stock
