I want a go, it actually looks so much fun!!
Its the fact that the police appear to turn up to stop them that concerns me.
"Officer, theres been a crime!"
"Oh really sir, something I can ignore, like theft or burglary, causing misery and large financial loss, for which I can issue a reference number for the insurance and go back to my subsidised canteen?"
"No officer, its consenting adults chasing a cheese down a hill".
"Cyril, fire up the blues and twos, we got some right slags to apprehend!".

Aye, only a mad Englishman could have ever thought of rolling a cheese down a steep hill, and getting a load of folk to run after it to catch it for fun

I know they do a mud flat run or summat, all get dressed up in silly clothes to see who can get to the other side the first.
Or is that another one from the mad English repertoir?

There's a couple of these in the UK, one near AR09 at Maldon and another down SW somewhere, don't know who invented it, us or the Dutch
