Hello,

Just thought I would pop in and say hello, I live in Edinburgh though brought up in Grangemouth and lived there for 37 years, now 39.

I currently ride a YZF R125 and sitting my MOD 2 this Thursday, so hopefully I pass "this time" never took any lessons and just been going through the motions on the YZF over the last year to obtain my bike certificate ....

I had a few Yamaha RS 100cc bikes when I was 17 etc however gave that up to get a car for my work at that point and just got back into bikes a few years ago :) no need for a car at the moment and the bike is great :)

Hopefully when I pass my MOD 2 I can sell the YZF and get a SV650, thats my plan anyway and the reason I joined this forum.

Had a good summer last year on the bike, a few camping trips to Fort William etc, rather long haul on the 125cc though great fun...

Anyway just wanted to say hi and hopefully I will get to meet some of you soon ..... oh and just to clear up the confusion if I am male or female "Steph" I am male :-D ..

Hi Steph,

All the best for Thursday. I'm still a newbie biker myself and the 'mod' tests are still quite fresh in my memory. It absolutely chucked it down in both my mod1 and mod2. So I was pretty sure everything was conspiring against me.

However, whether it was luck or skill, I still passed both first time. It sounds as though you've got quite a bit of riding experience so I'm sure you breeze the test.

If you pass and sign up for the GM4, I'll be the other slow poke at the back ;)
