I see loads of bikers with bum bags on when out and about, and I think I might get one for France.
Question is does anyone make one with bikers in mind, i.e for bikers?

I've got an Oxford Sports one with a built in visor carry. I've definitely seen ones made by other brands too.

Well if you're going to make a point, at least do it properly in the correct colour

Bum bags horrid things, but I use one with my summer leathers as there are no pockets. However I do get worried that it has come open and wallet, spare glasses etc have disappeared 20 miles down the road. I have had one where the zip has failed and despite not loosing anything it now does make me cautious of putting anything of value in them. then again pocket zips in my jackets have also failed.

Fanny packs (Bum bags) rock! :smt019 I have an Oxford Sports one that carries all my crap (First Aid kit, spare visor, visor cleaner, camera, mini-binoculars, phone, wallet, etc) comfortably. Great when wearing leathers and your bike has no underseat storage...

Mike, they serve a purpose.
Not exactly aesthetically pleasing, I snigger when I see hump back race leathers with bum bag. I use them under sufferance.

I also use an oxford bumbag. I hate putting things in my jacket pockets. Means I can get all my stuff in that I need like spare visor, wallet, phone, ear plugs etc.
As Tim says they serve a purpose
Prefer my small magnetic tank bag with the straps that turn it into a rucksack. Don't like wearing stuff that might dig in if I trundle down the road on my wok.

I used to have a small tank bag I used all the time but then I bought the Daytona which has a plastic tank. So rendered it useless

Can I give you a bit of advice. When you go through tolls in France its better to have your spare change in the see through pocket on your tank bag in my experience. You need to throw it in the box so quick you don;t have time to be delving around in a ghey bum bag. At least if you can see the change, you can give the right amount.....nowt like a load of ignorant peeps in cars beeping at you! Or even worse when you pull into card only:rolleyes:
