Another day in the garage from 4:00am to 19:00, and now it is actually starting to look like a bike!
First job was get the front wheel in just as day was breaking!

Then I brought this out of the loft where it had been for the last 2 years. All £600 worth.

Fitted to the bike, and the first time it has been out of the garage since May 2009.

I really started to worry about starting it up now and it hasn't moved for 2 years. So I ripped off the air box and stripped the carbs and cleaned them. Fitted new reeds, new fuel lines. I got the newly painted fuel tank out of the loft and connected that up. only problem was 20 mins sorting a siezed fuel tap.

Nipped to the petrol station and filled the can, which cost me £7.80 WTF. I can remember not so long ago it was £4.00 to fill it.
Anyway started praying!

Unbelievable it started 3rd kick. Castrol oil smoke everywhere. The exhaust sounds amazing too.

Next job was sort the calipers. I had changed the standards for 3 pot hyabusa calipers, and when coupled with the GSXR 750 radial master the stopping power is supposed to be awesome.

They are however a total bastward to bleed

After 2 hours of continuous bleeding, finally I have pressure!

Last job was my specially made Pro-mach rear sets. These are a one off that were made as a prototype for THETUNINGWORKS, and never went into production. As far as I am aware I own the only set, or at least I did 2 years ago.
http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u305/danf1234/DSCF0510.jpg
Fitted with the adapted GSXR 750 master cylinder and hydraulic brake switch.

That is as much time the wife is giving me for now, so next job will be all the plastics.
