Simply - I finish my exams on the 22nd June, and intend to spend some of my post-exam, revision-and-work-free period on the bike and meeting the people who I haven't made the effort/been able to meet before.
So whose up for a pub and pie on the 23rd/24th?
Or anything else if you all have suggestions!
Would just like to meet a few of you, start to really be a part of this unique grouping of individuals (ignoring how cheesy that sounds...)
Oh, and of course, a drink each on me
that would be great but one of us has to stay in with the little one, however could be up for a day time meet over a weekend some time
i agree with tara a saturday morning meet, then us child ridden non bikers can come along have a wee drink, meet everyone and then stand there jealously as you all head off for a wee rideout. good luck with your exams.

I'm easy to please.

It's all seeming pretty positive for you!
Only trouble with a Saturday meet (for me at least), is that being a student I'm unfortunate enough to have to work weekends, which is a bit of a bugger...
no reason why we can't have two meets one in the evening and one at the weekend

As far as I know, the Anchor is the usual haunt, but I'm open to suggestions...

biggest darn pie I've ever seen!
are we heading towards a plan, of The Keystone on the 23rd? Tara and Kitkat leave the halves babysitting or even better bring them all along, or is it not practical for you though?
What say you all out there to Jamsey D's plan and Sarah's pub shout?
Who's in?

KK can't leave her other half babysitting as it dirtydog and he won't want to miss out on a pie
as for me we'll see it all depends on my sense of direction i might need guiding in

I'm liking this slowly-forming plan.
1 - I get to celebrate the end of my exams and meet y'all
2 - I get to celebrate it with a big ol' pie
3 - The pub is within staggering distance of the station
All positives as far as I can see!
Surely you can find your by now
I Have no sense of direction at all
If I'm off the pain killers by then I'll be there. Might need some help cutting up my pie though!

I'm sure you'll have more than enough willing volunteers if you share ;D
I'm going to try and get a couple of hours earlier off work for this, how does a 7.00 for 7.30 meat time sound for everyone? (Pun intended) I mean of course you can drop in and out as you wish, but just a bit of a guideline.

Watch out Mark, my stupid biking questions will get worse as I drink.
Jamesy D, this looks like it might make a dent on your student loan balance.

Wahey - the day is finally (almost) upon us! I should be getting off work at about 6, in Guildford for 7.30, I'll hope to see you all there, or at least as many as possible (although overviewing my finances...might not be able to buy everyone a drink as I thought I might :p) but hey, we can still enjoy ourselves.
See you all there! If you want me to reserve you tables/chairs/pints/pies just drop me a line!
PS...what's the Orger universal recognition signal, or is it one of those innate primal things?

I'll be there 7.30 ish.
Don't know how we'll make contact. I'll just go round the pub looking gormless asking, "d'you like motorbikes?":)
I'll make it easy on everyone. I'll be the bloke wearing a collar and cuff PINK sling, drinking a Guinness and looking miserable and when you ask me if I like bikes I will reply in a Northern Irish accent. That should do it I reckon.
