I'd make a quick exit too:rolleyes:

Don't listen to the naysayers.
The smartest decision I ever made was asking my wife to marry me. :)

marriage is what you and your partner make of it. but i will say that i think toooo many women take it as an excuse to make a man's life miserable.

Smartest decision the wife made was agreeing to marry me:smt002
I would have been so wealthy without the financial drain of wife/kids
I would have the dream job as I could have taken up opportunities to work for non UK companies.
I wouldn't get grief when caught snogging other women.
god I would have been bloody miserable
glad I made the smart decision and told her we were getting wed

. . . and when you're old and past it, she'll let you have your dream bike, saying: " do it while you can " me one happy bunny. :D

wouldnt worry mate, its got nothing to do with you! Your good lady asking for your input is merely a token gesture, in her mind she knows what she wants already. Sit back and enjoy the ride my friend.
Oh and decent stag do, a must!

Yep, my wife excused from that though 99% of the time ;)
Go enjoy your single life though before you get married, or you might regret not doing it.

yup, this is how it is working for me...just under three months and I will be married in Poland. the wedding day is all about the mrs to be and her mum/sisters. I'm just sitting back and helping out when asked!
all us blokes need to do is to nod sympathetically in the planning process, have a stag do and then turn up on the day!
Luckily I married a woman who loves to ride (no rude comments please) and I mean her own 650 not mine(ER6-f). I work with someone who wants a bike but his other half said "what on earth do you want one of those horrible things for?". I have a very understandig wife which is great!

Oh yeah, I did this as well. All I had to do was turn up on time!
