I have a question about De-snorkling the airbox on a sv1000s.

and before anybody sends me to the naughty step i have tried using the search with no luck.

Anywho, Last night i decided to De snorkel my airbox after riding my friends Duke monster and being deafened by the induction noise ( oh how i love loud noises )

Im just curious as to know what the downsides are to doing this.

I can imagine it will be a little more juicey ( but thats not a concern :D )

Will it suck in any water on a wet day/Raining?

I have gave the bike a sniff while running it and it doesnt smell lean im still running the OEM filter, all i done was gently remove the snorkel from the front of the box.

Any reply will be appreciated.

It will make precisely no difference whatsoever.
