A sad day but I am skint and not using it much so the bike has to go.
The good bits....few goodies put on by previous owner, mini screen, belly pan, tail tidy, loud pipes and other trimmings. Brand new battery and back tire and 12 month MOT
The bad bits....I ride it through winter so the engine casings etc. are not as pretty as a summer cosseted bike. I had a very minor off last year in Italy, it cracked the front wheel and scraped the bellypan, I put a new front on but left the scraped pan. It has done a fair mileage at 22,000. If you want a show bike then it would take a while to polish up, if you want a fantastic bike to ride and don't want to pay a premium for polish them this is a bargain. I have owned it from 2005 when it had 4000 on the clock.
If you have not ridden one then for me it was just a fantastic step up from the 650, suspension is hugely improved and local bumpy corners were no longer an issue. Engine has so much low down grunt you are not working it hard, just open it up from low revs and it pulls like a train, I found it much more relaxing to ride than the 650 but then I never got near the throttle stop.
