so about a mile from home after the chippy run, i have my garage in sight, can smell the coffee and the bubble bath in my nice hot bath when i notice a red car coming out the parking lot and it looks as if he's turning left... across my path..8-[

so i watch what he's doing (his head is turned and he's chatting to the passanger) and yip, without even looking right he just turned out.. so i moved over to give him a bit more space and blast the hooter at him and mutter some unprintables under my breath. i'm about to overtake and forget the whole thing and get on home when he looks over at me and starts gesticulating wildly and swerves into me:toss: as if to knock me off.. he misses (\\:D/) i chuckle and think aaaasshooooole and wtf.. u pulled out on me mate, i did actually have right of way.

i hang back a bit and i can see him watching me in his mirrors and as i move to go past so he swerves into me again and then i got really p*****d off. funnily enough, a guy in a white van going in the opposite direction obviously saw what had happened and it p****d him off too cos i notice him do a handbrake turn and hazards on, come chasing after us... with that we get to the lights and he pulls his van across the front of the red car (i for the life of me cant remember the make of car) and starts screaming at the driver... driver screaming at me... traffic backing up - people hooting and going mad - i cant go anywhere, the pakistan red car driver cant go anywere.. :smt094

8-[

guy in a silver peugout next to me is giving me the hairyeyeball cos i holding up the traffic.. (and possibly cos i revved the bike cos the imbecile was trying to squeeze between me and the peugout and was gonna hit me)

a conversation ensues between white van driver and peugout driver and i starting getting a bit worried thinking the two guys gonna get out their cars and start a fight.. (couldnt hear what the two drivers were saying to each other bar that the white van man was really really angry and shouting about what the red car driver had done) but the van moves off.. the red car moves off... the peugout moves off and i think thats the end of that... Sunday circus over

but noooo it aint gonna end there! the peugeot guy pulls up along side the red car... winds down his passenger window and shows him to pull over.. red car just ignores him and continues down the road.. guy show him again to pull over with no luck until he held up something and showed him his police badge!!! \\:D/

oh how i laughed and laughed and laughed... and laughed some more!

we all in NTS's car park... he was warned it could be 6 points and a fine (didnt quite catch the amount) for driving without due care and attention and the copper proceeded to lecture him on how vunerable bikers are and how to use mirrors and did he know the lines on the mirrors are for blind spots, and you could have hit him (at which point the copper turned round and i had by then taken my lid off - he spluttered and said i mean her :D ) the guy was adamant all he did "was turn left"... so the copper said yeah, well use your mirrors and look right for oncoming traffic as well mate!

thank you mr off duty policeman for giving him a talking too - honestly his actions were uncalled for (there is a speed camera just before the redcar pulled out so i wasnt doing more than 30mph) had he looked he woulda seen me, but him swerving into me cos i blasted the hooter at him???

copper on his way to work, mumbled something about the smoke out the back of my bike  and off he went

it would have just been sooooo much sweeter had the **** in the red car actually got the points and fine cos he was bang outaline.. thank you mr white van man :notworthy: for coming to my rescue and trying to stop him

oh how i love dozy cage drivers - not! (oh and not that it would have made any difference, no indicator to show which way he was turning)

btw - arent they sposed to ask for licence and insurance and stuff??

the pakistan red car driver

This would explain an awful lot.

Without wanting to sound racist, around here it's predominantly the asian population who couldn't drive a greasy stick up a pig's ar5e. The vast majority show a complete and utter disregard for anything and everything on the road and ignore every traffic signal at the roadside. Their ignorance as drivers knows no bounds.

depends on what cage driver you're giving the score to... as far as I can see it is biker 0 off duty copper 1.

At least you didnt get hurt in the skirmish.

You're right Stenno, I'm afraid its the one thing that flips my switch on the road. If I make a mistake and someone has a go at me I say sorry, if they mistake and for instance cut me up and wave a hand sorry I shrug my shoulders and let it go. If I think I'm in the right and they have a go, bang red mist and trouble. In this incident for suzukiness I'm sure I would have ended up getting the attention of the copper. Well done Ness, keeping cool is cool. Ooh that last bit sounds hippy.
