It's an awesome ride, 0-80mph in around 2 seconds.
However, I don't think I got anywhere near the same buzz that all my friends did. "Why Allan, WHY?!" I hear you yelp. Well, I think it's because of biking. I, like all of you, have become more accustomed to sweet acceleration and bonersome thrust.
People paid good money today to get a few seconds of that sensation. That sensation we get a bit of so often.
That is why you're all awesome.

I don't know. Something about having your stomach wrapped around your spine for a couple of seconds is fairly thrilling!

Love going to thorpe park, but if you think thats fun try bunjii jumping. now theres a thrill as you realise your falling towards the ground rather quick.

I done bungees and stealth, no problemo but when it comes to gut churning colly wobbles this one at Thorpe does it for me.

Is it anything like Rita at Alton Towers?
My Mrs loves that ride? Not quite as keen on similar acceleration when sat on a tiny patch of slippy plastic with nothing to hold onto.
I believe this ride reaches the parts others can't (not done it myself).

LOl allan, I actually kinda agree.
We used to annually go to Alton Towers but havnt in a while, then last year we went to THorpe Park for the ahlloween weekend and none of the rides had the same fear factor as they used too. All were enjoyable but the speed no longer played its part.

Yes its like Rita.
Not really, same concept of magnetic instant acceleation, but Rita is more of a high speed roller coaster. Stealth starts the same way but then you just go straight up about 100ft in the air do a roll and return, no joy ride just a thrill burst.
Saw is my all time favorite ride, from both Uk and abroad Saw just beat the lot.

Saw gave me a huge headache every single time I went on it. No idea why!

The horror mazes, yeah.
We got a halloween weekend ticket, then fast track into the horror mazes so we could do them all in the one night. The saw maze wasnt the worst one, they had one just as you walked into the park which was only in a big tent but it was the first one we did (maybe that had something to do with the fear factor) I was first in our line of 6 and it was hellish no wonder you're not allowed to go through if old or pregnant, I damn near had heart attack going around there. Things jumping out and stroaking you, the actors in there making it a million times worse cos they play up the more you dordal the more they taunt. I was laughing through it but it was totally one of those matcho Im gonna laugh so I dont scream moments - it was so dark in there though, I literally walked heel to toe just because I couldnt see where the turns were.
The saw one was pretty awsome but everything was visible so you kinda had a clue what was coming (trying not to give any spoilers away for those who've yet to try it). The asylum which was meant to be the most scary scary thing was properly tame, I made one of the actors laugh when she was trying to scare our line (again I was point) I asked for a kiss then blew her one (for a crazy zombee she was hot) :)
Haha nice.
I went in the one near the saw ride and I couldn't see barely anything and I was at the front. Literally almost ****ed myself when someone stroked my face!
I loved Rita - Wouldn't do stealth same as I don't do oblivion - just hurts the back too much - I know its weird. Try and work it out cos I can't fathom why some hurt and some don't yet design seem similar
You cant beat Nemesis IMO
Only ever been to Alton Towers, do you think Thorpe Park is worth going to instead then?

Ques were smaller at Thrope Park, although I'd fast track for the big 3 (saw/Stealth/nemisis type one that I cant remember the name of).
Thorpe park is defo smaller than alton towers but its do-able in a day which I liked about it. If you havnt been and its possible to go then check out this site http://www.thorpebreaks.co.uk/ great value, FOr 2 people tickets into the park for Sat and Sunday plus a hotel stay (inc breakfast) less than 10mins taxi from the park £130 total.
Ohh that a good deal - always fancied Thorpe but it is a long way from us!
Yes its like Rita.Hmmm Rita Simmons...anyway, what? Oh yes, stealth. Go on it in the rain. It REALLY stings
