As some of you may know, I had a little mishap about a week ago and dropped my bike, which snapped off the brake lever end. Having searched through the Org I found a link to this company, The Two Wheels (http://www.the2wheels.com). Being from Hong Kong, I was a little worried about the quality, but things are a bit tight at the moment and being a little short of cash for the £100 levers on E-Bay, I thought I would try it.
Well they arrived this morning, earlier than they said in their confirmation e-mail. I would have expected them next week, so am very impressed with their response. :D
Then I had to fit them both. Armed with a socket set and a screw driver, it took slightly less than ten minutes to fit both levers and seconds to set them to exactly how I like them to feel. The joy of little girly hands means that I have them set quite close to the bars.
I still have room on the adjusters to bring them closer if I need it, but they feel lovely. Will be going for a test ride later today and will report back how they feel on the road.
Anyway, have some pictures, no laughing at my poor photography skills or my white trainers stained with engine oil!

So far I am very happy with them, they look good and initial feel is very solid and well made. Not at all bad for (US)$40! :D
not fair both my sets from the same company come wrapped in bubble wrap and in a cardboard box. i'm complaining you got nice retail packaging :-)
I have the same ones but short version, ace fit and work well, why pay more for the same thing? Not to mention customer service was great!
Nice.
Did they have the correct pivot to allow for the clutch switch?
Nice.
It's good when companies stick to or better their estimates.
i got mine a few weeks ago, look ace, just hope the anodise stays blue!:p

They should do. It normally takes quite a lot to remove the colour once anodised. They do look good.
£26 delivered from Hong Kong, about 10 days to arrive, can't complain if they fade after a few yrs;)

They fitted perfectly, everything works lovely and grabbing a handful feels positive and firm. Much liking, those in the Weston area can pop down to Bike night this evening and say hello and give their appraisal. I do like them though. ;-)

Well, that's my decision made then. Having done much the same as you and dropped it on it's brake lever (mind you, entirely my fault unlike your white van ****s), I was waiting to see what you thought of them. From what you and the other Orgers have said, it looks like a no-brainer. I'm just torn between black and the blue which Aquila bought. Like mine, it isn't the same blue as the bike but it looks much better than I thought it would.
Decisions, decisions!

I went for the black ones and it matches really well, thought he blue would clash with the Candy Napoleon blue, especially if the blue faded!

OK I give in! Having resisted buying these (or some like them) for the last couple of weeks I've succumbed! It's your fault Jayne - leading us all astray like that...;)
Fitted a set of these yesterday to my Sv, as said, took no more than 10 mins. Went for a good hours spin of braking and changing gears,to me they feel much better than the stock ones. Very happy with them.

They look really smart. That's me sold on a set.
I think black are the best option to go with on most bikes as its just so hard to get a good colour match. They really do feel very good over stock and the short versions are great. I wasnt sure if i would like the shorter ones but they really are much nicer to ride with over stock.
Highly recommended :)
PS, Message 'the2wheels' and you get them even cheaper, i ended up getting my clutch leaver for just £7 posted after i misread the advert for the brake leaver (though it was for the pair not just the one). Very helpful and get back to you really quick.

Black ones, I'm going for black ones! Oh, but what colour adjuster?
My brain hurts
Clearly red is the only way to go....

Nothing too bright for me, black levers with black adjusters.....
Surely bright pink would be nicer!:D

That sound like the red if you get the light right!

Golden ones with Pearl canyon yellow? Hmmm!
Mine arrived today, took a week to get here so very happy with delivery time. I'm going to fit them in a bit but from first impressions I'd say these were excellent quality, definitely don't feel cheap in any way.
I've got the short Blue ones and find my clutch control is so much better and the feel is much improved over the OEM.

Put a set of these on a few months back. No probs so far.
A mate has a set on his RR well over a year with no bother at all.
Top notch \\:D/

I noticed something today while riding home from work, it is amazing how light the action is on my brake lever, the shape is slightly different in feel and fits lovely into my hand.
Just an aside, to an otherwise ordinary ride home. The new chain and sprocket is lovely too, bike just feels solid again. :-)
