A quick question for the IT geeks and/or those with more expertise with these sort of things (which will be pretty well anyone!)
Is there any way a watermark can be removed from a photo using photoshop editor?
(question comes from Mrs tinpants. I haven't got a frickin' clue what she's on about. No change there then!!)

Depending on the location of the watermark / what it is, possibly. Although most of the time they are there to make nicking the image difficult/impossible. Also the chances are if it's been uploaded to the net it will be reasonably low res so would look horrible printed.

Plus there is a reason why the watermark is there in the first place!

Better would be to contact the photographer or copyright holder and ask them to send you a hi res un-watermarked version of the image. Of course it depends on why you want the image in the first place and what you are using it for.
