Got to wait and see what the chief mechanic says after putting me on the dyno machine.
Worst scenario is open the motor up and replace the valve but I am hoping it will not come to that.
Unfortunately bits wear out with abuse and age.

Bit of a bad luck run for you lately.

With bit of luck it will just be clearances have gone out. Modern motors don't seem to cope well with valves sticking without making friends with piston, good thing it is rare occurrence.

I think DTs motor is knocking on a bit, been in the wars, its far from modern, although, I'm not overly sure if it has mechanical parts added ;)
I'll give you a bell tomorrow at some point Mac

Your in good company Mac, Jasper was diagnoses with a dicky ticker last week. But as he is capable of chasing moggies at full speed and no obvious impact on his lifestyle just monitor him.
I am with the dizzy one, lubrication.
BTW how's the old fella?

A sticky valve is better than a loose orifice! ;-)
Good luck with it Mac.
That's the reason I don't go to me docs
Ignorance is bliss ;)

Men of a certain age should never ignore a problem, in fact women as well.
My dad is testament to the ignorance is bliss theory. Hes falling to bits with rare kidney disease, one kidney, numerous operations to keep him alive, enlarged heart, had a blood clot break off from his leg once, sat in his heart almost killed him, now has a filter to prevent future cases, aretery by passes, veins stripped...still hasn't learned, mother has to nag him to go to everything he supposed to.....if she didn't he wouldn't be here.
He should have been dead eight years ago, if he'd have ignored everyone.
I'd rather my dad be dropping to bits with a smile on his face, than not here at all.
Ok valid point.
I'll sit in the naughty corner :(
