** NOW SOLD **

Well, I put it off as long as I could, but my SV is for sale!

It's a K5 and it's been mine from new. It now has 34140 miles on the odo, a lot of which are motorway miles as I used to commute from Wigan - Manchester.

Currently SORN'd and the MOT expires late July.

PM me for mobile number / more info :)

The Good / extras:

Meta alarm/immobiliser (with 2 fobs and code card)
Fender extender
Chewy's Mirror Extenders
R&G Bar Ends
R&G Crash Bungs
R&G Tail tidy (the original show shovel is yours though if you are that way inclined!) :)
Scorpion Titanium Oval Exhaust (again, original exhaust can be refitted if you prefer but why oh why would you do that when the Scorpion sounds the way it does!)
Chain & sprockets were replaced approx 2500 miles ago and I serviced the bike at the same time, changed oil, filter, spark plugs etc. The brake pads are also fairly new, they were changed about 3000 miles ago, prior to the below...

The Bad:

In the interest of full disclosure and as most people on the site know anyway, I had small accident last year and the bike suffered some minor damage. It used to be fully-faired and the LHS lower fairing panel, crash bung, bar-end and indicator took most of the damage - hence the list of nice R&G stuff above, the majority of which was to replace the damaged items.

That just leaves the stuff I sadly never had the time or money to fix, namely a scuff on the LHS of the nose fairing (visible in the first photo) and a small ding in the very edge of the rear wheel rim.

The bike was fully inspected and MOT'd after repairing the damage and carrying out the servicing mentioned above!

I have tried to reflect all the above in the price, which I hope is realistic but I accept I may have to be a little flexible!

N.B. As the bike is currently SORN'd test rides are sadly not possible, please bear this in mind if you plan on viewing the bike.

I can personally vouch for this bike being a lovely little runner. I rode it back home after the crash and before it was repaired, and it was silky smooth then, so must be much better back up in good nick :D

Good luck with the sale, dude ;)

No sorry, if it doesn't sell as it is I will probably end up keeping it laid up until I have the money to run it again.

Where abouts in south Manchester are you?

I`d say the south part. Geographically small enough area without giving too many details away.

The south part of south Manchester then? It's just that I'm in south Manchester also, so I thought it might be of use if I wanted to actually have a look at the bike?

If you had put the statement that you might actually want to look at the bike then the reply might have been different. No disrespect and i dont want to make a member feel unwanted or anything but you didnt put that down and in a world full of opportunists, if u want to know where, pm the seller and he can pass the details privatly.

Fair enough, I have Pm'd him but thought just in case he doesn't get email notifications then he might check the thread more regularly.

Was the bike registered by the insurance company as a result of the accident or did you just do the repairs?

The accident was declared to my insurance co' because I claimed for my helmet & textiles, but the damage to the bike was only cosmetic really so I didn't bother claiming for it and just replaced the broken bits myself. :)

Hi, would you sell the tail tidy separately?

Not at the moment sorry - if whoever buys the bike wants it put back to the standard rear end though then I would do, watch this space :)

Hi, would you sell the air in the tyres?

Yep - at £1000 per PSI that will be £33,000 for the front and £36,000 for the rear. Seeing as you're a mate though, call it £50. ;)
