View Full Version : Pug 106 1.5D for sale. £150
It's battered and bruised but road legal and very economical to drive.
MOT until end of Jan 2012. Cambelt changed at 130k. It's now on 160k.
It's N Reg. No outstanding finance ;-)
Has a slight (and I mean slight) oil leak which has been there for the past two years without any sign of getting worse.
2nd gear is a bit crunchy when cold but that has been there for the past two years and never got any worse either. If your smooth with the gear changes it doesn't crunch at all.
It'll do 60-70 mpg if not trying thrash it. Not that it is possible to thrash it.
Got any pics?
Seriously?
It's red.

Red in colour or red with rust?
Sorry couldn't resist
No not seriously, but a free bump. Genuinely would consider taking it off your hands if you lived closer!

Do you think it would cope with a weekly 700 mile round trip?
Do you think it would cope with a weekly 700 mile round trip?Easy
A mate had one of these years ago and done in excess of 400K. Its not fast, but its a work horse.
For 150 quid what do you want? Its got a ticket and is a runner.

Exactly.
It failed the last MOT for one thing. The horn wasn't working. The fuse had blown. It has a new exhaust on it too. Well new as in I replaced it last year.

That's what I'm thinking. The train from Glasgow to Milton Keynes is £103 return each week. If the car only lasts me a month I'll save money.

I saw a P reg on Pistonheads in top condition. Loved the clock - very Rolls Royce. It also had an immobilisier - keypad operated just in front of the gear lever. Talk about top of the range. It was in shannon green too. Awesome.
This is a cheap run of the mill bog standard Pug 106 diesel 1.5 At £150 I'm practically giving it away. Either your interested in buying it or your not.

My neighbour had one, proper old school engine that didnt mind a bit of chip oil from sainsburys now and then. Did better mpg than a bike and was warm and dry in the bargain. Tax was something stupid like £200 though.
Tax is £68 for 6 months. Car is now (unsurprisingly) sold.
Cheers.
