This engine has been rebuilt by Mike Smith renowned engine builder for racing purposes (http://mikesmithtuni...o.uk/index.html (http://mikesmithtuning.co.uk/index.html)) within Bemsee minitwin class restrictions (rebuild cost £700). It has had new rings, deglazed bores, cleaned cylinder heads/valves and all parts checked for wear and damage. Kept as a spare for one season it was initially dynoed at 72 BHP with good bottom end torque. It has been raced over three weekends only, setting the minitwin lap record at Cadwell this year(1.37.9) and then removed for storage and spare whilst a newer engine has been used to finish this seasons racing at Bemsee. Clutch parts and gearbox are all excellent condition with a whole season of use left.
Have always used SRF race oil and new filter after two meetings. Has never missed a beat and is being sold as part of our sell off of minitwin kit due to a class change for next season.
