Good luck getting any interest without uploading pictures which takes 5 minutes. I wouldn't touch or even think about buying a bike without pictures. So maybe he is correct.

I know what a SV650S K7 in mint condition should look like. As for yours, I have no idea, you say its in good nick but you provide no evidence to back it up. If you are willing to provide pictures for someone with real interest then why not save the hassle and just post them up here to save people wasting time and asking. You will get a lot more interest for sure.

Well I was interested, a colleague asked me to keep my eyes open for an SV as he's just passed DAS and I told him to get a test ride, which he did, but hadn't found anything that new at dealers in his 2500 budget. If I saw an 07 bike with pictures of immaculate brake caliper bolts, a very clean rear shock, and no engine paint problems then I might have told him to take a look at think about stretching his budget a bit. The post was just a lighthearted / humourous way of asking you to post some pics.

Ah, now comes the difficult bit, I got to take some pictures (easy so far), I could send them to you (I think I can manage that), but as for posting them on here!. I have to confess I don't know how to do that-------- see I had to confess after all, I was hoping to get away with that---- I'll try.
So as you know, it is clean, I tend not to take it out in the rain (I know, I know, fair weather rider!). I only ride for fun now, years ago it was different, I've riden in all that horrible stuff, rain, snow and didn't enjoy it, now I'm lucky enough not to have to. The only reason for getting rid of it, is that we've moved offices and the ride to work would be dangerous and simple not enjoyable anymore, so I'll get the XL 250 back on the road as a 'toy' (1978 < 8000miles)

PS I'm going to advertise it in the local rag this week, if your mate has a serious interest, I don't think it'll hang around for long

He's in Leeds. Gloucester is a long way, so he'd need pictures before deciding to make a journey to see it in the flesh. Lots of SV's out there, not like he has to travel that far unless it's too good a deal to miss. Do a search, folk have asked how to post pictures plenty times.

Thanks for the link and advice, it's now got a flat battery, which is no surprise as I haven't turned the ignition switch in 8 months!.
Just to confirm, I've had it from new and it has <7000 miles on it
When I get the battery sorted and get it out the garage, I'll take some photos

The good news
Bike starts, first time after 8 months, I was impressed
Taken some photos
The not so good news
I'll try and get them on here, it might take me an evening tutorial at home to do it, if I can't manage in the next couple of minutes
Grr have to do it later
