As some of you may remember I resprayed my bike last summer, well I'm bored of it already so here I go again,

This time tho I'm completely stripping the bike and starting from scratch,

I am polishing the frame, swing arm, and all other add ons plus a complete repaint including wheels etc,

anyway I'll start from the begining :)

I bought a new, well second hand to be honest swingarm off the bay,

Heres the picture of it as it arrived,

I then went through the grades of paper on one section to see how well it would polish up. I havent used any metal polishing compounds on it I just went through the grades of paper and it came up like a mirror.

I am going to strip the whole swing arm right back and hopefully the new mops should be here this week so I can get the thing polished up :)

I have a very similar swingarm sitting in my garage waiting to be polished in a similar fashion. :)

I'll watch for updates

+1

But don't use your good B&D Hammer Drill. Get a cheapo as there's a good chance you're gonna burn out the motor on it. :p

Any cheeky mods planned along the way?

Sorry for the slow reply been tied up at work!

Anyway i spent the afternoon actually all of it and more completely stripping the subframe of any paint.

I am going to be spraying the swingarm, frame and other bolt-ons satin black and keeping the bike panels a nice blue,

I'll upload some pics of the swingarm shortly :)
