Glad I left when I did, big black cloud heading that way, balsall common had flash floods, got soaked from the roads not from rain.

Sneaky ford focus by the church in hatton with two guys wearing baseball caps, the way they were parked had to be cops.

Btw Col, they are stopping bike nights from 3rd august, moving it to hatton park I believe.

Well last year it was starting to fill up at 6pm, but went a few weeks ago and it didn't fill up until 7-7.30.

BBC and Met Office both say heavy showers for this afternoon, MetCheck says it will be sunny intervals. I'll look again at 4pm and if it hasn't rained here by then I'll be going.

I'm sure last time I was up there the flyers being handed out said 1st week in august.
I've just got in, but it's mega windy here, if it drops I'll consider coming out for a bit, but I don't fancy riding in this, I was watching a guy on the mway getting blown around on a vstrom.
Tbh, 7.30-8pm is a bit late, be dark just after 9pm, hardly worth getting kitted up for.

No joke, my XT has just been to Portugal and back and wasted a brand new rear tyre in 10 days.

The bike did everything I asked of it, from climbing rocky 1 in 3's, to crossing rivers and sitting on the motorway at 75mph for 7-8 hours at a time, and other than using a bit oil as all big singles do, it never missed a beat!

The DRZ would go to France and back no bother.
