Tony link up with the Soho riders at Ace Cafe or I could meet you somewhere up the M40. Come on you know it makes sense.

FG1 - Working with a bad back can cause financial ruin, best you stay off if you have a touch of the August lumbago.

There is a service station at Junction 2 on the M40, if any one is going to use the M40, have a quick stop / fag / and pick me up along the way.

256 miles? Is that all?

Pick an interesting wiggly route and make the most of it.

Not that far really. In April 09 I went to Devon on my own, 298 miles, I came to AR09 in that Essex place, and it was about 250ish on my own, then a month later was back again to visit a mate in Suffolk on my own. Went to South Wales in the November...

You lot don't get out much do ya?

Piece of pee to get here, if i wasn't so busy I'd come pick you up myself!

A phrasebook may be optimistic. Call ahead to the consulate in Leeds and see if they can book you an interpreter for the duration.

Just ask people to speak reeeeeaaaalllly sllloooooowly, I'm sure you'll be able to pick up what we're saying.

no need for passport, we're not that far North, although Dave Preston is border patrol, so its up to him if we let you in :)

Tony, the whole reason I live in the south is to educate you lot on the correct pronunciation of the English language. I would like to think that my time has been well spent and you should at least be able to order a round and pay for a tank of fuel. If you can do that then you should do fine in Gods county.

Also, why are you looking at places to stay, join in with everybody else in a tent or bunkhouse. Darren is trying to get somebody to share his bunkhouse so there is still space.

If, I do manage to go I will probably be camping.

I'm not quite sure what he just said, not being fluent in eckythump, but I *think* he made some reference to having taught people how to buy a round.

I must have misread it.

My AR trip was to go all the way to book a B&B room which i have now lost the deposit...all the extra stuff i brought for the AR gone to waste...and not even doing the AR.........
I only managed 91.2 miles !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oil all over the back wheel, spilling from the so called fixed engine leak,
yesterday's wednesday/thursday's 12000 miles service cost £520 quid and on a service was told they had fixed the leak........
like fxxx they fixed it.
bike back to triumph, and me back home...
i dont know weather to laugh or cry....:pukel:

Cheer up, it's only money and a lost weekend.

Compared to one story I've heard from the last few days you practically won the lottery.

Thanks dizzy, i'm been in a bit of a shock/daze since friday.........
just wondering what could have happened.
when we stoped at the motorway services, my back wheel was half covered in oil !!!!!!!!!
and up untill then we were using A roads...........and at a good pace.
i could have come off at any right bend since we started the ride 91 miles ago....
And i was TEC, so no one saw the state my tire was like with oil spashing on it..........
after a £520 full service was told it was good to go...(i told then i was going up north).i assumed the bike was ok......
lucky lucky lucky....i think i have used up all my life's...
