I have a Samsung Galaxy S and regularly use the Navigation App which is fine if im trying to find my way somewhere, but I cant plan my own route and upload it.
Can anyone recommend an app or piece of software that can enable me to do this, ideally I want to be able to upload a google map onto the phone. Anyone know if this is possible?

I was messing about on Google maps the other day on the laptop whilst logged into my Google account , when I turned on my Galaxy S2 it noticed I had been plotting some stuff and asked me of I wanted to import it :)
Maps is pretty sensible, but the navigation part doesn't seem to be able to pick up a route and follow it, which is slightly annoying. For the AR, I've been forced to go up to the dales and ride it over and over... ;)
Android uses Google maps for free on the HTC so I'd have thought you could use it.
I use co pilot the maps on the SD card so you don't need a 3 g connection.plus you get camera warning

I tried co pilot, but found the volume too low out the headphone socket to the autocom and no way to increase it. It worked fine with the inbuilt speaker but that is useless on a bike.
So now using Ndrive
I just use the voice through a set of in Ear Senhizer headphones works a treat :)
Have only just started using Google Navigation as I found this nifty little bag (http://www.hein-gericke.co.uk/streetline-gps-tasche.html) to put my phone in. I looked at some of the other navigation platforms - is this CoPilot worth a go? I don't like the fact that Google needs an internet connection if you deviate from the plotted route - no good in the wilds of Norfolk :(
I have used it for a little over the year . And for 20 quid (that include camera updates) I find it better than the Nissan conect in the car .
Cost me 20 quid for one years cam updates from pocket gps world to upload to the car .

Downloaded CoPilot (half price :-)) and seems ok. Like being able to drag to amend route, thats what Navigation was missing for me. Will have to have phone in top of tank bag so probably wont be able to hear it!!!
Off to peak district at weekend, route plotted, be interesting to see how i get on with it.
