I've found out why there was so many and why they were been driven like idiots.

£199 For Supercar Drive Through the Highlands From Exhilarate Scotland (£850 Value) (http://www.groupon.co.uk/payment?dotdId=506447&noJS=true)
Groupon grease monkeys will be met in Loch Earnhead village for a quick hot or cold drink and a talk on how to handle the cars. Depending on availability on the day, they will then have the chance to drive five cars from an Aston Martin Volante DB9, a Porsche 997 Turbo, a Ferrari F430 Spider, a Ford Focus RS WRC, a Caterham CSR, a Lotus Evora 2 plus 2 and a Dodge Viper on a picturesque route through Glen Ogle to Oban taking in LIX Toll, Crianlarich, the Gold Mine at Tyndrum, Kilchurn Castle and Connel Bridge. Everyone will get the opportunity to drive each of the cars, making stops on the way there and the way back to swap over. The whole trip lasts around four hours. Exhilarate will also treat you to Afternoon Tea in Oban.

How cheap is that! (compared to an experience on track thingy I mean)

I feel another trip up north coming on \\:D/

just a pity that the cars wouldn't be able to be ragged like they would on a track.

Best bit was taking the lot of them singing nicely in 3rd going up Rannoch Moor :D - were they restricted to 33 bhp?
Shame the WRC had a pop at Quedos which rather spoilt her day. :(

We guessed that was where they were from. It's not long since Bikenut's dad had a day out with them. He said the Ferrari was a bit boring, whereas the Caterham is just bonkers mental. Unfortunately the Aston was garaged that day, but he still had a fab day.

Well worth £200.

Was a shame, picked on the wrong person. I'd have liked a little play with them :smt096

Its the other way round surely? When I bought my other half a trackday in a ferrari and a lambo gallardo, anytime there was excessive tyre squeal or she was nearly red lining it the instructor told her to knock it back a bit. Thank god they didnt ask her to parallel park it is all I say

This looks like a good excuse (not that one is needed!) to take the bike back up there for another long weekend :D

What's the point of going if you can't drive it properly?

Oh YES !

What's the point of going if you can't ride it properly?

Like a Street Triple?
I'm working on it, and christopher's GM IV and a half sounds spot on.

still should have kicked the gits door in but the way things were going I would probably have fallen off:rolleyes:.

I must admit I would be a bit miffed have to keep it so low - the Aston would sound great given the chance though they pulled in a Glencoe Ski Centre after stopping at Lix - not exactly the longest jaunt!
