Mum's husband's Mustang needs some "tuning" work to get it running smoothly, I think both timing of the electronic ignition, cam timing and carb twiddling apparently:

Can anyone recommend a Yank specialist in Newcastle or Edinburgh? It's goijng to need trailing there which is going to be fun/slow with a Series Landrover!

Just thinking the old Ford V8s are pushrod, so if the cam timing is out it may be labour intensive..... hopefully a misdiagnostic by my mum's husband!

Try giving Andy Urwin a ring. He's patient enough to run a countach so that should be easy for him, he generally loves autos too so is worth a phone call.

its either 0191 267 0999 or 0191 267 2222 He generally likes unusual stuff and every time i go there is a selection of exotic fords there. Admittedly not V8's.
