Think of the most humongous zit you ever had, quadruple it and put it somewhere impossible to see, let it grow, so it painfully restricts your ability to swallow, yawn, talk and even breathe. Let it try to attack you ears with what feels like a blunt 1" diameter drill being shoved through.
After 3 days without food, and only sips of water trying to shove the pain killers past it, wake up with a nasty mouth and pain free.
3 days of pain, now I am pain free the doc has given me the antibiotics I could have done with a few days ago.
At least I now know when I posted in my luggage thread that my neck hurt. Why.
Oh I wonder why my food tastes horrible. Anyone know a decent mouthwash. Or is it just thinking about it?
Corsodyll will help. It'll take your mind off of almost anything.
Why did you leave it so long though!

Corsodyll isn't intended for use as a regular mouthwash, more as a treatment for stuff like bleeding gums. Dentists don't recommend you use it every day.

I reckon a gobful of septic pus has got to count as needing treatment. Might even cure the Lancastrian accent?

Same thing hospitalised me 3 times, it's really nice when they jab a big feckin needle in the back of your throat and lance it ....... They removed my tonsils in the end

Thanks Tim, I now have a sore throat from just thinking about it... Might be a mouth ulcer though as I seem to be getting lots of them lately due to a numpty boss and stressful workload.

Depends on where in your throat it was. If it's actually IN your throat I doubt you could get the stuff to touch it while gargling, and I wouldn't want to drink Corsodyl.

I used to get those a LOT when I worked in stressful jobs, huge mouth ulcers (the side of a 20p piece) at the very back of my mouth/throat where they were agonizing and unreachable by any sort of medication.

Yikes Tim, hope it clears up soon, sounds bloody horrid.
. Might even cure the Lancastrian accent?
We live in hope, if it works can we somehow find a way of distributing it through their entire water system? :D
