Well guys I'm feeling a tiny bit uninspired at the moment. I have done a route but I feel as if its fairly similar to things we have already done, there are a few different roads.. SO what do you guys think?
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?saddr=272+Great+Western+Road,+Glasgow+G4+9EJ+ (Hein+Gericke+(UK)+Ltd)&daddr=Carbeth+Inn,+Blanefield,+Glasgow,+Lanarkshir e+(Carbeth+Inn)+to:portincaple+to:lochgilphead+to: oban+to:Crianlarich+to:Carbeth+Inn,+Blanefield,+Gl asgow,+Lanarkshire+(Carbeth+Inn)&hl=en&ll=56.165435,-4.913635&spn=0.735579,1.760559&sll=56.113404,-5.064697&sspn=0.736575,1.760559&geocode=FcqNVAMdRcm-_yFzlkz8WoKVCikhUwTgMUSISDF3aY7EvHmipw%3BFdY4VgMdy Vy9_yEaPtIjhsLjQg%3BFXUCWAMdNhu2_ymZ4INCBaiJSDGWgV cUeEvchQ%3BFb4WVwMdLhut_ylBHae4NIKJSDHANt93HGgMCg% 3BFSrBXAMd5Yms_ynB8d3S0EGJSDE3wo-B_0rdgw%3BFe96XAMdH425_yl53a6vROGISDGzKroOTU40HA%3 BFdY4VgMdyVy9_yEaPtIjhsLjQg&mra=pd&z=9
Now on 28th August.
The run will leave at 10:30, stops probably Inveraray, Oban and Green Welly.
Let me know what you lovely people think about, route, date, start time?
If anyone can think of a better route, shout out :)

when you are watching this, look out for the Gourlays. My cousin's (robert) sons should be taking part. Lee and Greg. Think they are both pretty good but I might be biased. Pop over and say hi, friendly bunch. and you are nearly related to them lol

saying that I am coming up for not for the ride. Me and Libby are travelling up to sunny fife by National Express overnight service. should be fun - but hey at £18 return I can live with it. Coming up on 16th august for a week. hoping to borrow mums car and head over to see old workmates in balloch.
ooh have you heard son, your mammy has a new car. Keeping in touch with my hay day - I have a lovely wee red xr2. 23 years old, no power steering, no servo assisted breaks, not central locking. I love it :D

If its me organising it won't be the start. Unless you can all make it over to Majorca? I'll have to see how the funds are So if someone else wants to organise Septembers that would be lovely.

Now the run would have to be later in the month too as the AR is weekend of 7th, I'm at Duns 14th for the Brittish MX championship (watching)
so that gives us the 21st or 28th to play with.
The run will leave at 10:30, stops probably Inveraray, Oban and Green Welly.
Let me know what you lovely people think about, route, date, start time?

I'm working early that morning in Prestwick, I can probably get away by 1200/1230 and nip to gourock, across to dunoon (1300ish) on ferry and head north from there. What's the groups ETA for Oban and for Green Welly Tyndrum? Should be able to meet at either by taking A819 North from Inverary.
Bob.

Having looked at the route with a start time of 1030 I reckon the main group will be at Oban for 1400. If you guys don't mind scheduling a short stop at Dalmally on A85 east going to Tyndrum, I'll pick the group up there around 1430 or at Green Welly for 1445ish if you don't want to stop.
Planning on getting 1250 ferry Gourock to Dunoon and nip up via Inverary to Dalmally and get the rest of run back home with you guys.
I've got Tam's number to check on progress before I leave work.
Bob.

I'm sure we can come to some sort of understanding. But I'll be honest I hadn't thought about timings, But lunch in Oban will probably be 30 mins at least. The stop in Inveraray will be 10 /15 mins.

The majority of people seem to have gone for the 28th however I'm nights on the 21st so that would suit me better. Easy either way, I quite like the idea if my solo adventure on the 28th.
