SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD
2004 sv650s K4.
Hey all, long time no post!
Alas, the time has come for me to sell my SV. I’m about to move to Kent for a few months, before I go off and travel for a while. So, I need funds for my adventure and unfortunately the SV is part of those funds. It’s been an absolute pleasure to own, but it’s time for someone else to enjoy such a great bike.
As I mentioned, I’m moving from Brighton to Kent in a week, and could use a quick sale before I go. As such I’m pricing the bike at what seems to be, at least according to auto trader’s prices, a keen amount for a quick sale. If the bike doesn’t sell before I go, I’ll be re-listing it in Kent at a price more in line with the apparent trends.
So…

The bad;
No service history – Before I moved to Brighton I used to run a local branch of a large motorcycle chain, as such all servicing was done by our mechanics out of hours, hence no service stamps!
Front throttle side headlamp has cracks in the glass (see below). There was a small crack a few years ago, caused by a low speed lowside. Over the years this crack has spread and now reaches across a large amount of the headlight. This causes no problems in terms of light transmitted, and the bike has been through several MOTs without any issue. Replacement lenses can be picked up on ebay fairly cheap, and it’s an afternoon’s work to remove the plastics etc and replace it. Just one of those things I’ve never got round to!
http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z269/upsidedown_assassin/bike/5.jpg
There’s a few chips and marks to the paintwork as to be expected, but not many at all considering the age of the bike. The mirrors are scuffed on the plastic body, as I used to keep the bike in the worlds skinniest pvc lean to!
Test rides are more than welcome, but I will need a full cash deposit and proof of insurance.
Please feel free to call for more details. I do a lot of scuba diving just off the coast, so if you’re unable to get a hold of me over the weekend, send me a quick text or an email with your details to upsidedown_assassin (at) hotmail.com , and I’ll get back to you as soon as I’m on dry land!
Call me on 07738 225 395, my name’s Adam.
Cheers all
