Hey, just found the site last night and thought it would be a great resource since i just invested in my first motorcycle - a year 2000 SV650S in blue. Only problem now is getting my licence haha! Passed my Mod 1 Sunday morning, now just waiting on a date for my Mod 2 test. Itching to get out, all i can do is polish her until then..

Nonsense! You can start the engine and rev her up a bit. I'd do that now if I were you :-)
Anyway, welcome. See you in Argyll in August.

Give it time. You've got plenty of it now. I know how you feel though I'm gagging to get out on the bike. It must be even worse for you. stay calm it'll all clear up, just take your time and stay safe.
Congrats! Hi and welcome!:)
