:( Broken forearm & elbow also damaged wrist & knee ...

Not on my bike but tripping over a steam cleaner hose at work !!

Only a small family business so no 'where theres blame theres a claim for me' .... i don't agree with all that crap anyway ... should have been looking where i was going !

Had some repair plates fitted to broken bits & other bits wired up last week ... still bl**dy hurts

Don't think i will be back on a bike for a few months

Get well soon mate. Refreshing also that you've taken the common sense approach to personal injury claim! Too easy to claim these days.

+1 respect for resisting to screw your company over this, probably would've closed them or severely damaged their finances.

Now they've plated it, it'll heal much faster. Next time I see you we can compare scars. Remember chicks dig scars.

get well soon.

Hi Gid ,

I have always had my bike on the AR's for the rideout ... did take it to Wales on a trailer behind the motorhome last year though !!

I supose I could try and get Sheila to drive the motorhome as there is no way that i will be able to change gear & steer for a long time .

We are going to try and do Porlock again this year ... hope to see you all there.

cheers

Ride pillion - it's easy with a broken elbow - I managed it in Thailand and an Essex rideout. Hope you get over it soon. Get your surgeon to sort out an arm brace as it's better than being in plaster for months.
