Hi All,

One of my best mates is getting married. He has been interesting in bikes for years and given his commute, it'd make a hell of a lot of sense for him to get one. Realising this may be his last chance to get into biking before "settling down" takes over, I thought I'd give him a nudge by getting him a CBT as his wedding present (don't worry, I got his wife something too).

He lives in Milton Keynes, but I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for good places to do a CBT (or places to avoid) in the area?

Anyone got any experience of this (http://www.horizonridertraining.co.uk/site/CBT.php)lot?

My wife did a "try riding a bike" type thing at a Bedfordshire road safety event. It was these people that did it

That was my only experience of them, but they were really relaxed, approachable, friendly, and really made her feel comfortable (she was pushed into it by me as I wanted her to understand a little bit better what it was like to ride a bike, and she didn't really want to do it). Within 15 minutes having never used a motorcycle clutch or gear lever, a very patent big old bear of a man with a massive gray beard down to his stomach had her riding round in circles with a massive grin on her face and both her and him were laughing every time she stalled or screwed it up.

Like I said it was only 15 minutes spent with them, but I'd book her CBT & DAS there if she ever decides to do it.
