I'll be passing Strensham services at about 10-1030 on the Friday morning if anyone wants to tag along.

I think its about an hour North of you and 3 hours from me. I'm good to link up with Tinpants but it'll mean an early start for me. So I'm game for a Swindon, Strensham route on the Friday morning.

Strensham services are by junction 8 on the M5. If it helps we can meet a bit later - say 11 - 1130?

Cool. I'll aim to get there for 11. I'll be near the fuel station not the service area. Theres more room there for everyone to park up.

Myself and Nick_69 will be heading from Hinckley Friday some time. Will probably be up for meeting you guys around this area to head up in convoy or you guys are welcome to use my place as a stop off for a cuppa.

Right then. 2 and a bit days to go.

Unless I've misread it, the only ones meeting at Strensham are me, SH and a lazy cyclist. Any other takers?

Meet at Strensham at 1100, to move off at 1130.

Google Maps on the Blackberry, plus a printout of the route. If I have time I may even try and fix my sat-nav. It was playing up something awful last time I used it. It may need a ball-pein adjustment!!

The route I'm intending to take is M6 to j31, then A59 and A682 with a bit of A65 thrown in for good measure!

Could possibly meet up once we get off the motorway.

As an aside, I'm going on the motorway as its a frickin' long way from here and the motorway is the best way of munching the miles. Back roads are more fun - no argument there - but its going to take us about 4.5 hours to get there as it is so I really don't want to be farting about on back roads just for a bit of entertainment.

I intend getting my entertainment from a) the rideout on Saturday and b) the antics of the assembled glitterati (a certain Mr D Preston etc) on Saturday night.

That makes sense. Google Maps says the route i posted should take about 4 hours....whether that is accurate or not we'll find out :p
