What is everyone's opinion?

They are apparently quieter than average an do not seem to cost the earth.

See links:

Seems like a bloody good idea to me

Tried one of these 10 years ago at the NEC, and there is a good reason why they still haven't really caught on.

If you sit with your head at the right angle they are ok - however 99% of the time all you will see is sky.

Really, apparently this new MX-1 is fully adjustable. According to their site the released one in 2003 which like you say never really caught on, but '7 years of intense research' and they have come up with this fully adjustable optics system. Approved for track use too.

If you are looking what's behind you on track you aren't trying hard enough!

good idea if your the IAM R1200 pipe and slippers type of rider.

As YC said if your looking behind that often you need to speed the f*** up!

Have spoken to the sales team for these in the UK the ACU sticker is purely because we brits still prefer that approval to the EU certification.

If it is adjustable and you can see the road behind would solve a lot of probs with the s**te mirrors on modern bikes that give you a great view of you elbows, for the record i don't ride on the track.
