As long as its a good price for a good bike I'm not fussed. I'm sticking with SV's a little longer while I learn more, my accidents far from put me off but mine was an unneccessary write off.
So Long as its Yellow and Curvy with a good lot of life in her still I'm not fussed. Lowers would be nice and a decent Can preferable too, Would travel miles to collect on a train/coach once my thumbs better (broke it in my accident) with all my gear to ride her home. But Project bikes that need a little touching up'll be fine too.
Cash waiting once insurance pays out.

Yer I've been looking at that scratching my chin as its done 40k I know theres a lot of life in their engines but I do a lot of miles as its my main transport. Also really not keen on any of its back end from the extended mudguard, whats going on there. I don't think I can offer him as much as he'd want and would probably want the Can and Cowl in there too. I'll pm him about it all

Just take it off then....the added odd mudguard that is.
Can vouch for the fairings etc, as I was going to have the front nosecone, as its perfect to go with my perfect side panels, but alas its going with the rest of it!

Yes, Yes messaging back and forth about it now, but still I don't know what it is about that bike thats putting me off it, I guess its going to have to be a love at first sight kind of thing. Plus I don't have to be in a rush to buy, I can't even ride for another 3 weeks minimum. Plus once I can ride I'd have a cash injection from my Birthday coming up so could maybe do a bit better.
I don't know :S Its all pie in the sky atm

What about a newer pointy - more power, EFI , less miles and look better! :)

For curvys it was definitely at the top of the list - Best of Breed maybe...
Hell, I even put the snow plough back on and junked the R&G tail tidy:rolleyes:

I doubt I'll go pointy, I love them both, I was always swinging to the curvy but if its not in Yellow it might aswell not exist, I'm well known for a love of yellow! If I work out what funds I have and rather than jumping straight back onto a bike and just call this summer a "write off" like Flo (rest her soul) I'll have much more time to be shopping, bargain hunting especially with this economy, I reckon I can pick myself up a bargain. Spend the cold winter months working on it and making the Annual ride out next year, I want to stick to a yellow SV wether I shift up into a pointy or remain loyal to curviness I don't know. Either way you see one for sale, point it my way I'm surely interested in it all
Slow speed spill you say? Is it just fairing damage or worse?

She's now declared Write off because of my financial situation and insurance being a bit of an ass! Shes off to a Salvage auction in Bristol, I'd love for an Orger to get her! Will link to the auction place if anyones really interested
