My 50th birthday party - April 2012

Keep the weekend of April 7th and 8th free in your 2012 diaries, folks. I'm 50 years of age on Friday 6th and holding a big party at a pub in Derbyshire for all my biking friends. Everyone will be made welcome. There is camping on site and a few B+Bs in the area, good food and excellent beers are served in the pub too.

As I regard the .org as one of my favourite places on the net I'd like as many of you to attend if you want to (unless I think you're a to55er). I know I can be a right regular pain in the ar5e on here sometimes, but what the hell, come along even if it's only to throw rotten fruit at an old codger.

The weekend will be attended by friends of mine from other biking groups, most of whom are top people I'd trust my daughters with, so they ain't all bad. If it's anything like my 40th that was held there it'll be a great weekend for all.

Daughters aged 20, 22 and 30, but none of them will be there, nor will my son (aged 18 ). This is for biking mates only, the family party happens another time.

We is in, mrs would be slightly concerned about camping at that time of year, but we have camped in the lakes around then, she was complaining all night about being cold, woke up and there was frost all over the tent :rolleyes:, i was toasty all night :D
