i have used my spare skybox to give my son freeview in his room, however i cannot get channels like Dave etc. which you can get on a normal freeview box. does anyone know if there is a card i can get which will give him this? if so what are the channels he can get?

yes call sky and they can issue you a freesat card, I am not sure how much it is.

You might wanna compare, freesat, freesat from sky, and freeview. There used to be channel differences, not sure now as i haven't researched in a while.

Doesn't sound very FREEview if its £25 every 3 years

Well unless they are offering anything extra, freesat box would be cheaper in the long run. Run a google search, bound to have been asked online in the past.

I thought it was on their website, I looked into it as was going to cancel and go freesat but they slashed the crap out of the subscription charge so I stayed..:-)

bit the bullet and ordered the sky card, 25 quid is cheaper than buying a new box
