....now I have my proper name back!

I would like to thank everyone who made the effort to come and make a very super duper AR. Apart from the rain! Maybe if we go again sometime, we may be able to get third time lucky on that one.:smt104

I would like to give a very large public thankyou to Orose, who gave so much time, so many 'poker faces' to my worries and dizzyness, who just said 'it'll be fine'. His face has always been DILLIGAF to my WTF. Without Oli, I'm not sure we'd have had an AR, because without him to offer to take it on after I had baby, I wouldn't have had the drive and determination to carry on.

All three chefs, my god, you cooked all of my food mountain:cheers:

All those who have recce'd, fetched, marked, carried, been ordered, shouted at, bored to death, and heres some remembered moments

Gemma cause shes just amazing,
Maria-I love her-Lou, why do you need so many cucumbers?,
Smudge 'pay your council tax',
Chris, and his petrol fumed van, oh how I laughed at how much stuff we got in there, 'Lou can you smell petrol,,hmm must be him in front', both of us turning at the same time to look at the rat, hidden there somewhere
Bibio for falling in love,
Messie 'how you feeling Lou',
AndrewSmith, cause nobody from Scotland understands what he says,
Samson, the dizzy dog
TLW....for nearly trashing my gate table and all its contents...dumbass!
bapmobeel(the new name for the Skyline)
Rictus, for distracting me so I forgot the corner
Dave Preston... I'm Irish, I know where you live, that bloody megaphone(ta Smudge)
KG...I'm scarred for life
Maviczap.....for crying over onions
TSM....you fecker!
Jambo because hes just so nice.
Sid Squid, who came to the AR, but didn't know we'd already decided for him, before he did
Phil and kate 24/7.....nine hrs in a van to get here, poor Kate was texting me, and that BIG TOP TENT!
The Raptor Chapter.
Cagiva Girls dad....and his doggie tank bag.
DALESBRIDGE>>>>>YEEEEEHHAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Raf, for refusing to let go of his bike
Weirdo, for offroading his Raptor and staying on.
Lozzo.......you did me a favour taking more V2 sponges
Mrs CombatFred..Wendy, for attempting a nice photo, it really will never happen!
StarTrekSteve....you knew I was grumpy, I love you!
Hindle, clean that down pipe, its got grass in it.
Fruity, you really could hide an army under that hoody
Dyzio, giving me the throttle signal, and the big grin when I nearly blew his helmet off

600+, Moses, I love hearing my man speak his real language, it was a pleasure to hear you both, chatting away :)

I will keep editing as I remember so many things

Most of all, my darling Pegasus....cause hes had to listen to AR for nearly a year.

PS>>>>> Hope you all liked the cake ;)

I think I'll finish now, I'm dizzy! I had a great time, hope you all enjoyed yourselves, and you all ate well. The whole thing was a blur of madness for me, my sinuses have packed in, I feel like Megs, but I really enjoyed the whole experience.

The best bit........everyone rolling in happy, and going away very soggy and happy, especially the Soho group tooting and waving as they left.

Dave Preston... I'm Irish, I know where you live, that bloody megaphone(ta Smudge)

"HELLO, HELLO. CAN MY WIFE PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHERE MY TENT IS, I'M LOST AND I NEED TO SLEEP NOW"

This shouted through the bloody megaphone at gone 3am woke me up, but it also made me laugh my doo-dahs off. The man is a bloody star :-)

Once again, thanks Dizzy.

So did I, but I have no idea what he said, because my ears have had two sledgehammers in them for a couple of days.

I've obviously spent too much time around preston, as speaking to Andrew was as easy as can be - sober geordie is a lot less difficult than drunk nornirish, megaphone or not

Cake was awesome :)

Certainly was, sorry I ate about half of one. The fault lies entirely with Toni (miss TLW) for taking pity on me and fetching me the biggest slice of cake I've EVER seen - and I've eaten a lot of cake!. It would have been rude of me not to eat after she went to so much trouble.....

PS. The rest was eaten by Venom, for little fella he can eat!

Despite the Long journey in seemingly limitless traffic, the horrendous weather and the lack of light to erect the worlds largest tent for the first time with no instructions. Me and Kate had a lovely time so we thank you greatly for all the effort put into it by everyone involved.

Great AR Dizzy, Kim and the kids loved it!
It makes a change somebody else being grumpy other than me!
Great to finally put faces to the avatars, especially Lozzo, Manxmatt, Davepreston and Soulkiss.

Thanks a lot for a very warm welcome to my first AR. Daniela and I had a great time. And we both loved the Saturday rideout. Despite the weather and my leaking fluorescent yellow helmet (felt like riding wearing a fish bowl at points) the route was awesome. And big thanks to Soulkiss for sharing his alcoholic stock with us. I feel there are many more AR's to come regardless of machinery ridden.

A very special thanks to SidSquid for helping us on our way home after my immobilizer fob refused to work and did its job - immobilized us just past the gates on M6. I owe you big time.

Many thanks once again and see you all next year.

Dani and Mike.

yea unreal tbh. How he didnt die ill never know. actually i dont think he knows either! on the flip side it would have allowed him to pop some nice lights on the front :)

steve was another good un. Some classic grasstracking action :D (only funny because i nearly did the same on the reccee!)

mmmm my nice new helmet was exactly the same. Specs steamed up too, didn't bother wiping the outside after a while as it was running in from the top and distorting everything.
Had to ride back to the campsite with specs perched on end of nose! Peeps already know I'm as blind as a bat!

Glad you enjoyed your first AR:cheers:

Making it funnier seeing the chosen re-entry point was a 2ft puddle

Dave it was right at the back on the 2nd leg about 2 miles after I marked the bridge

Big thanks to the whole organising team, markers and the catering team :D

Also thanks to whoever it was that lend me their tankbag (sorry, to many new people), Messie for the tailpack, Sid for duck tape and Owenski for keys to the DRZ (still grinning :D)

Great place, no rain next time please

Glad I could provide some entertainment...but it didn't half shoite me up for a good 20 mins afterwards.

Although on the accent front, Me and AndrewSmtih in the bar before most folk got there on Sat chatting; must have just sounded like white noise..deep, deep white noise to most.

Dave it was right at the back on the 2nd leg about 2 miles after I marked the bridge

Like I could get any wetter by that point...my thoughts were more like this: Oh **** I ain't going round this corner (no idea why)....anchors on, Oh **** I ain't going to stop before the grass...brakes off...Oh **** I hope there aren't any ditches...Yay I'm still on....Oh ****I hope I can slow the thing down....Oh **** it's trying to let go, please don't fall, it'll cost money, will make me look more like a **** and may also hurt. Ah **** it, it's only a puddle and I'm already peed through.

Thanks to all the folks I met in the flesh for having a chat even if you didn't understand me, to Andy for that schnapps, Diz and Orose for putting all the effort in and to the typical weather for teaching me I have never been wet on a bike before...I was pouring water out my boot and everything was literally dripping in the drying room when I got back.

lol, when Pete and Moses started talking in Greek was like jibberjabberjibberjabberjibberjabber:cool:.......a nd the Scots stood with them looked confused, as Petes scotch accent suddenly changed. Don't think his mates have heard him speak like that before :p

Hahaha yeah he spoke Greek in a Scottish accent :) Then quickly reverted back to English as after 40 years in exile I guess he is losing his touch LOL
