That is very nice! How do you find it compared to an Sv for size and comfort?

I thought it'd be worse, but tbh I've found the comfort of the seat to be better, the bars arn't at a bad angle so its not uncomfortable. I'm definitely enjoying it so far, havn't done much milage yet but next week should be doing a 600/800 odd weekend tour of Ireland so I think I'll have better answers then for you

Well, within a year I've changed to a GSXR 1000 K5, it kindof happened, not regretting it :) haha

It's a friends 999, and I can completely understand that haha. The insurance somehow worked out cheaper for the 1000 than the 600, hopefully continues that way. Had it a day and it feels a lot more like the sv in terms of having power all the time than the 600 which had to be worked to get to the power, but was way more than needed already. Thanks guys
