Nice.
You can hear them walking about if they get in the house.
My lad thinks it's ace (like Spider man :spiderman:) until it gets closer and you can see it's eyes.

I see lots bannana's which are imported from South America, which arrive by the pallet load in the ships holds like this.

I haven't seen any live spiders as the holds are cooled to stop the fruit ripening, which kills them. But if I do its going to be a big one, and very hairy.
It's just a spider

That's not big! Ok it's fairly big but I once had a house spider in the bedroom that was so big I could hear all 8 of it's little footsteps tapping up the wall above the bed! Had to catch and release it the noisy beggar!

Very cunning but I'm not afflicted with the Jeremy Beadle hand.

I'll have you know my hands are both the right size for an over weight 6ft and a bit bloke.

I agree, it's about a middle weight.
When we moved in & the coal house was bare, they moved out.
After the 1st delivery they moved back in & Sarah refused to fill the bucket.
That was her excuse then and I think she's sticking to it.
Our cats bring them in like birds.
I think the spiders sometime put up a good fight as they occasionally stroll in looking like cartoon cats with badly drawn whiskers.
(That is if they don't just devour them :pukel:)

If spiders survive in our house without the cats or dog eating them, they are welcome to stay!

When I was a teen i used to work on Ipswich market setting up the stools at 4am before i went to school. Between us we found lots of spiders/tarantulas, lizards, large locusts, beetles and other mahoosive insects in the boxes of fruit and veg. Some live scary ones and some dead. Ipswich museum used to buy them off us. Twas cool. Back then it was a proper market behind iceland not the farty lil gift type stools in the town center.
I suddenly feel old.

I'm old enough to remember that market and the original one under the town hall, which was the corn exhange.
I am old :D
i saw a very large camel spider the other day now they are very weird looking spiders, and can run bladdy fast, they seem like there running after you but they just try chase your shadow. ive seen a few big lads cower away from them. ill try get a picture of one if i see one in the next few days. one of the lads had a small one, bigger than that spider tho, it was crawling up his leg and bit his thigh

This was the only thing that drew fire on base in Basra from the guy I know that toured there
thats the creepy big bugger, mine was probably a bit bigger than that and the one that bit one of the lads was probable quarter that ones size
