Set of traffic lights this morning by my house, I'm turning right, woman in a BMW 1 series at the traffic lights opposite to my direction.
All four lights are on red as a pedestrian had just crossed, while still on red this woman just pulls off, as I look at her in full amazement to watch she's done, she comes past me with her mobile phone to her ear and she is smiling cos she obviously thinks it's funny that's she's just ran a red light.
If a bike, powered or not I'm 100% sure she wouldn't have seen it as I watched her the whole time and she was only looking forward.
Ive been driving over 22 years and don't see much these days that suprises me, but this did.
That's it really.
Yes I've seem similar things. I can't work out if they've missed the red or are just taking the michael. Albeit I go through reds on my way to work sometimes at 530am but only ones where I have a clear view.

Yeah but this was 7.50 and she was well into her conversation.

I see it too often for it to surprise me any more.
This morning a woman was in front of me slightly on the inside of a roundabout, i was on the outisde and she just dived left across the front of my van, missed her by 2 feet max. Just the state of peoples dont give a feck attitude nowadays.

I saw my first one of these about two weeks ago, the silly little girl driving was so busy on her phone that she failed to notice a motorcyclist (me) and then the red lights on the crossing (opposite the Gas storage tanks in Weston), sailed through on red and pulled on to a roundabout. The way she was driving was so poor, it was offensive just to see it.
Someone on an SV tried to be clever and go the wrong way round a mini roundabout whilst I was doing a 180, and almost collided with me last night. Nice reactions and handling but very poor foresight...
Dude, if you happen to read this, plan your overtakes a little better or you will end up in the cemetery down the road. Oh and I'd prefer it if you hit a 4x4 not a biker.

A few weeks back i almost t boned a van driver that pulled out of a junction right infont of me while he had his mobile pressed to his ear. While i was explaning to him that what he had done was rather silly his female passenger wife/girlfriend leant over him and said 'do you mind cant you see hes on the phone' language used in my reply was not u rated.

Thats nothing, here's a case that happened locally, the Police couldn't get to talk to him until he'd finished one of his calls

Saw a bloke this morning who'd gone to the trouble of putting his leathers on, but then had all the zips undone (jacket, cuffs and ankles).
I know it's his lookout, but why go to all that trouble and then not bother with the zips?

Was just coming to post about the 2 phone guy, what a plonker.
I know it'll never happen but it should - Wouldnt it be great if you've been charged with using a mobile whilst driving but are then involved in an RTC where it is found the other driver was usuing a device that all insurance claims relating to the incident should be void. A sort of "well you thought it was ok when you were doing it sort of rebuttle".
