Some of us have a right to worry, knowing the EU this will pass, knowing how we take it up the bum from the EU we will implement it and then i'm looking at not being able to enter city centres.

This keeps getting banded about as if its gospel. Its just one biased misreprisented interpretation.

It's on a few different threads now, I think that's what he's getting at.

is it worth the risk, are you willing to sit there and do nothing then in a year or two this come into effect and say that simple K&N air filter you own now makes your bike illegal.

Theres a search function for a reason.

Constant reposting of the same thing just gets boring and dilutes the message.

Why would it make my bike illegal? Oh, the completely untrue bit about not being able to modify your bike, that bit.

There are a few listed that state a few reasons, if you have a K&N air filter that can be used on a race bike and a road bike then you can't use it, anything that modifies power would be illegal.

Now think about our goverment and their hatred for high power motorbikes, anything to stop power modifications they will jump on full force, the main point of this thread was to get the petition link up as the MAG protest properly won't do anything.

Dont you think that the aftermarket suppliers of cans, filters and every other bit of biking stuff wuld be on to this more than the biker? Loss of sales and redundancies for a start would see the striking french revolt, the italians cry, the germans invade someone and its only the brits that would roll over lol

Like invading belgium? They've had practice and it would solve the problem.

NO, thats just not true. More crap from the paranoid.
If the bike was modified sufficient to put it into a different catagory to the one it was designed or certified against, that would be illegal.
Big difference.
Similarites to having a restrictor fitted and bypassing it - which is an existing ruling anyway?

I had a quick look on the petition site, there are loads of petitions aiming at the same thing. One is up to about 4000. Why not do what someone has suggested and search? That way one petition gets more sigs than many.

What term would you prefer? I'm half-torn between lifestyle and religion, personally.

Anywhoo, while I'm here... another shameless plug (http://www.facebook.com/pages/25th-Sept-2011-Action-Now-EU-Hands-Off-Biking/218514361530962) is in order for those who are facebookists

Got a D in my defence.

Still would rather invade Brussels.
Who earns more?
The PM (*cough* **** *cough*) or a MEP?

I think we could do with no MEP's!!
