Anyone flipped the gear change on a 650. Want to.change up the gears by stabbing down as its allot easyer and less likely to miss one .yes done that more than once on a GPX 750.

You mean race shift.

Just swap the gear rod arm to point the opposite way to it does normally

Five minutes to make the change....or five minutes to forget you had and go the wrong way?

I've had it done by accident...was quite good stamping down going up the box :)

Just had to keep saying in my head 1 up 5 down 1 up 5 down 1 up 5 down etc. for a while! :D

All my bikes are race shift apart from my XR and Gas Gas which I can't change as they don't have a linkage. Strangely enough I don't have a problem going from one to the other on the road, it's only when I take the XR on the track (it's a Supermoto) that I tend to get it wrong and trust me when you go from flat in 2nd to 1st instead of 3rd on a 650 single the results are quite exciting....
