Granddad, you have no hair
And his mum says I cannot smack his bum. I think he has earned one!

Why he could only have been making an astute observation...i say could as I couldn't possibly comment on the validity of his remark ;):p

My 12 year old came out with a corker today. Wifey and I visited a nice French underwear shop this morning, Wifey was looking for some "nice" underwear. He suddenly piped up,"You've been married for a while. Shouldn't you be looking for something more practical?" Wifey was livid, I wasn't sure whether to clip him one or p1ss myself laughing!! Wifey has since seen funny side. And bought yet another set of "nice" underwear (wahey!).

Maybe I'm missing the point and/or naive but I don't see a problem, its not like he called you a "bald tw@", its a simple observation from a curious kid. (or at least the way you wrote it)
by all means keep em in line if they are intentionally being cheeky though, we all know (most of) the kids of today need some discipline!

My nephew calls me Uncle Clare. He does it to wind me up. Every time I tell him I am AUNTIE Clare he just gives me a big cheeky 2 year old's grin and says 'UNCLE Clare!'. I'm going to buy him a Tinkerbell outfit in revenge.
