You got to be kidding, the 'C' word already :( i farking detest that time of the year. Humbug.
I enjoy christmas, but i'm not about to wish 4 months of my life away :smt098
If somebody asked me what I wanted for my birthday and it wasn't for another 4 months, i'd think they were mental

Im surprised they bothered putting them away then!!

Its usually earlier.
For the first time in six years, the event of Christmas hasn't been in my life from as soon as Easter is out of the way. Yes thats right, at Oompah loompahville, as soon as they roll out the last Easter egg, they prepare for Christmas.
Woooohooo with knobs on, its amazing, no frikin purple tins at the ratio of 2500 an hr, no sweets, not shifts, no bleddy dreading them in every aisle around Asda.........!!!!!!
Its been a nice change to see it appear by magic in the wholesalers today.
As for Easter.....you lot do know that they start making them as early as August, the previous year, don't you!

We had the first "It's not too late to plan your Xmas Party" emails in July. It drives me nutty. Our youngest's birthday is very early in December, so no Xmas decorations go up in our house until after his birthday. I always think there should be a ban on decorations until at least the day after Remembrance Day.

I was going to treat myself to a Daytona 675 for chrimbo... that was until Philip Youles offered me a grand part ex for my SV!
Winkers! The salesman also suggested I bought the bike today as it's the last day of the 0% finance and that I should garage it over winter and use my SV as a winter hack.... Lol
Christmas - can take or leave it. But what is really really depressing is GMT, dark afternoons and evenings, all to please not very many people in Scotland who can make their own laws and should be trusted to make their own timezones.
