View Full Version : Why isn't Anglesey used as a BSB circuit?

Is it simply to do with the poor access on the last couple of miles of road leading there?

The track is deffo up to standard and has great vantage points, the facilities are OK but could easily be upgraded in terms of catering/toilets/garages, so what's the beef?

Soz if it's obvious/been discussed to death before.

Nope the reason is the lack of garages and accomodation, plans have already been approved and building starts next year. Then it needs to be accessed for a National Race License to get considered for BSB.

The owners have been a bit short of dosh but that seems to be fixed now.

The track is one of the best in the UK

its also only relatively recently that the track has been upgraded. These things take time, likely slowed down by the financial climate in the Uk over the past two or three years.
