So, my insurance runs out on the 17th and it looks unlikely that I'll be renewing it for the time being. So just need to check my MOT hasn't ran out yet but does anybody fancy a big day out on Saturday?

Either up around Market Harborough/Melton Mowbray or across and around the Cotswolds. I'm easy either way.

Would have been up for it, but I've just been biking in Portugal for 10 days and want to* spend time with the family.

* (note that after being without them for 10 days it's a case of 'want to' not 'have to' ;-) )

Sadly I cannot, my bike has nearly bald tyres and my new set are currently sat under my bosses desk :(

I could possibly be up for a ride on Saturday day but would need to be back by about 4 - 5 ish. Sunday is looking like a no goer for me. You got a route you're thinking of?

I might be up for it. Depends on times, where it is and whether I wake up in time

How about this route? Bout the right length for a 10.30am start at Long Itch, should get Binky back well before 5ish. There are options to extend down to Burford etc if we are ahead of time and can be arsed?

Thinking of a lunch stop at On Yer Bike at the burger van there?

So meet at Long Itch Diner around 10am with a view to leave around the 10.30 mark?

Route is clockwise.

I'm not going to be able to make this tomorrow now. I was probably hoping a bit too much anyhow. I'll see you guys soon though and you next Sunday Spiers. Text me your number btw as my phone spazzed out so don't have it anymore.

It's probably a good job i can't make it really. As cash is tight especially with Snetterton next week. I'm booking a flight to Bolivia sometime soon me thinks.

Ok, so if Binky is out then it would make more sense to go around MH/MM way so that Rusty can meet up.

Metalhead are you ok with that?

We could arrange to meet at Husbands Bosworth on the A4304 on the way to Market Harborough? And arrange to meet Rusty somewhere for around 12.30-1?

Probably be looking to meet at Husbands Bosworth at around 10am and get a couple of hours riding in before meeting with Rusty?

Alrighty mate. Ill text you in the morning. Where would you prefer to meet though? Is Melton or Market Harborough more suitable for you? Either is fine with me.

Ok

You pay to park cars behind the pub but the bloke should be there to show you where to park the bike which should be free
