No, the bus costs around 25 quid to fill, and does 300 miles to the tank on a good run. 60 quid should get us there and back ;) Much cheaper than the 150+ in the car!!!!

You could do obviously join sv4me's route via Middleton-in-Teesdale, Fourstones, Kielder and Scotland.

Fraid not, its going to pee it down on Saturday, I'm not looking forward to sitting on the back as it is! We're not setting off til lunch anyway, got kids you see.
Friday- Ride to peterborough first thing and get waterproof oversuit. Then to Squires for heart attack on a plate, followed by a ride across the dales en route to windemere.
Saturday & sunday- ride around the lakes etc
Monday, scenic route back to Cambridge

If you are off through the Dales to the Lakes, how about having some decent food at the new bike cafe in Leyburn...The Manor Cafe?

I will be trying to build a flat pack vivarium for the corn snake we got off of MM, thanks MM :D although it got delivered yesterday and the glass was broken, so they are sending out replacement glass. will post pics when he is in his new home, probably early next week.
Squires is conveniently placed, close enough for breakfast, though it's mainly for dad as I shall only have coffee :p . Apparently the best chips in the world are served somewhere along the A684 so we'll be stopping there too.

Plastering my utility room wall Saturday morning, circuit training 12-1.
Sunday - tiling utility room wall, fitting wireless thermostat, draining CH system, fitting new rad, filling CH system incl. Fernox or such.
Monday night - BEAST run planning meeting!

Saturday - Sleep and sleep. Nightshift.
Sunday - slope about in my jammies being completely knackered after my last nightshift but trying to avoid too much sleep!

tonight - Youth Club start up meeting
plaster boarding and skimming my spare room.. yay for me...
Sunday - Church then going to help my Grandma who has had a fall and splintered her shin..
must find time for a beer with my bro through all that..
tonight = taking mothernlaws car to her as she needs it tomorrow then get a takaway and chill in front of a movie of my choice as its my birthday i get to say. the rest of the time i get no say what so ever.
saturday = out on the bike in the pizzing. yey
sunday = washing bike with my new found miracle fluid.
