One Year ago................

We had a bit of an emergency situation, our baby wasn't quite growing, his mum was ill, his hearbeat kept stopping and starting, his placenta stopped working, he was breech(I wouldn't have minded too much but at 26 weeks he was right way up and tried to come out, spent two days in hospital), nearly every week we were in hospital at a varying times of the day and night...... an unpleasant situation had gotten to the stage we were given an ultimatum. You will have a caesarian, hes not going to turn, and he won't be able to cope................

The 2nd of September 2010 was a very worrying day indeed. In 2011 its a very very happy day for a very cheeky and healthy little boy :sunny:

Dude, I've got 6 of the rug rats. You're welcome to take on any or all of them. Mind you the eldest is 29 today. Thankfully they've flown the nest but still know where the Bank of Dad is.

Happy birthday!!!! My little nephew will be 1 in about two months. Such radical changes happening all the time. Brother has a babba due in 6 weeks too. So nerve racking in the run up hoping everything goes well for them!

Happy Birthday little man, sounds like you had a shaky start. Our youngest, also an Ollie (spooky), had his cord round his neck at birth and then decided to scare us again by developing some form of septicaemia shortly before his first birthday. He'll be 11 in a couple of months. So, grow up big and strong and don't scare your parents again!
