i have a full stock exhaust system, so what would i need to do to fit your fuel exhaust?
ImplodedHamster
17-09-11, 09:15 PM
you would need to cut the standard can off, then you would connect the link pipe and end can to where you cut the previous can off, using the clamps and exhaust hanger provided. it's fairly easy, do a seardh on here for a how to guide :)

yup, you cut the exhaust pipe about 1 inch above the final weld, then attachs the link pipe to that, then the end can to that. you need to link pipe to connect the exhaust pipe to the end can

I'll take the hugger if it'll fit a k5 naked and has the fittings.
bugger, i've been on the lookout for an exhaust and link pipe to replace the standard pipe. If anything falls through i'll take the link pipe

nope, just the actual hugger sorry... some of the screws had been stripped when the previous owner put it on, therefore had had to a grider to them to get the hugger off

Hey, my first post here and it's after a lowside :(
Anyways whilst clinging on to the bike till it hit the curb I did a little bit of damage
So can I call dibs, shotgun, or whatever on the:
LHS pillon footpeg (as long as it folds up and down)
A LHS (rear if it makes a difference) Indicator if it has the black backing part to go with it
As a general if anyone knows where to find a left footpeg and gear change assembly, and a new sidestand a pm or reply would be massively appreicated

Well normally I can salvage bits out of them even when bent and snapped... yours however I think are exception!
I'd still take them but probably not worth the cost of post. Don't trouble yourself unless you want them out of the way as I could still melt the sliders down to make something I suppose :P

Didn't see it in the list but do you have the cover for the tool kit for sale still?
ImplodedHamster
17-01-12, 04:48 PM
cover for tool kit? like the pouch the tools sit in? if so, then nope, it went with the tools
Sorry, should have made it a bit clearer - it's the plastic cover to the box in which the tools are kept on the bike not the actual bag in which they are kept.
It's got a wee plastic nub to pull it off and reveals the little cubbie hole in which the tools are kept.
ImplodedHamster
18-01-12, 12:03 PM
i'm still not sure what you're after. the tool kit on a pointy is held down buy a rubber band onto the under tray, then only thing that then goes on top of that is the pillion seat or seat cowl... have you got a photo of what you're after?
K4 and onwards tool tray is in a different place. Yours is a K3 so won't have the right parts.
